Purchase smells like smoke

I purchased a product. A non return product. I open the box and it smells like cigarettes. Nowhere does it mention it was in a smoking home. Is that okay to sell something with out stating it comes from someplace where smoking takes place. It smells horrible and I bet when i plug it in and it gets hot it's gonna smell worse and I can't put this on my hair.

Purchase smells like smoke

Hi @truthnrespect365-5

That would be Not as described and you can file a return through eBay (via the item in your Purchase history) using the reason that it Does not match pictures or description.  eBay will send you a pre paid shipping label  for the return despite the No returns accepted policy.  Once the Seller has the item back they will have 2 days to refund you, failing that you can go back to the claim and ask eBay to step in and force the refund.

Go and take a look at your purchase history. You can find it on the top right of any Ebay page. Hover over the words My Ebay. A menu will appear, click on Purchase history. Find the transaction. Look to the right there is likely to be a large blue box you can click on that says Return This Item.

OR

eBay Help page
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/reporting-item-didnt-receive?id=4042
1. Go to Purchase history.
2. Select More actions beside your item and then Return this Item.
3. Now you select the reason you are requesting the return for refund.
4. You have the option of adding a message to the seller.
5. Select Send request.
