Preventing buyers who leave negative feedback from bidding/buying our items

I think the answer is no but...

I was just wondering, does anyone know if there's a way to exclude ebayers who have a tendency to leave negative feedback for sellers from purchasing from my items? My thinking is that would be a nice way to protect sellers.  There are a few buyers out there who won't think twice about leaving a negative f.b. for a seller over the slightest issue, many times without giving the buyer a chance to make it right.  I don't think eBay gives us this option, but if given the choice, I'd set my preferences to block any buyer who has left say 2-3 or more negatives for sellers in the last 12 months.  I think that would be a nice option for eBay to give the sellers, and maybe it would cut back on buyers being so quick to leave a not necessarily warranted negative.

Maybe this is already an option I'm not aware of.  Any thoughts or wisdom on this topic?
