Photos I took using the app are sideways

I noticed a few weeks ago that the photos I took using the app are sideways when I am done taking photos. I have to rotate each photo before I can crop it or use other editing options. Customer service was no help! They supposedly sent a ticket for techs to look into the issue, but the app hasn't changed, the orientation is still sideways.

I don't take my photos with a mobile device, but can't you just turn the phone 45 degrees before you snap the photos?

Thank you for your reply! I will start using my phone turned 45 degrees for taking photos within the app. It's something that I never had to do before, but will get used to it. 😏
