Packlink /evri. lost parcel

Packlink /evri. Have lost the valuable parcel I sent.  The buyer has received a full refund inc postage.  So I have lost out goods and postage I paid I am finding it impossible to claim. The info they require is impossible asking amongst other questions how much it cost me to make the parts I sent.    I did not make them so there it ends no refund.  Any help appreciated. I thought I was protected using eBay’s postage Packlink but looks like not.

In the USA, all we need to show the carrier for a lost package is the cost the buyer paid for the item (ebay listing/invoice) .  Did you insure the package?
