Out with managed payments... in with Top Rated Seller

A month ago, I received the long anticipated "invitation" to ebay managed payments. PayPal has worked just fine for me for the last 8 or 10 years. Customer service says the change is "required" without exception. Their minds are made up. But mine is too. So, my small ebay store will be closing at month's end.

Today, I received an ebay email congratulating me for being a "Top Rated Seller." As far as I can see, the only perk that comes with this status is a purported savings of a percent or two on final value fees. I wish ebay would listen to its participants.

But that's the way it is.
