Did you mean:

Now we get to enjoy being double taxed

You do realize that since  you are paying 10.7% (me)

that here is a breakdown of the fee:

Sold used item                  $150

S&H  Large USPS                  24.95

Total                                        $174.95

tax                                                14.57

total                                          $190.52

Fees on 190.52                         20.39

FVF                                                      .30

SO the customer pays a tax, and then incorporated in the FEEs

we again pay a percentage of that tax, thereby being a 2nd tax

on the item, were we should be paying a fee on the $174.95,

as Ebay is just a collection center for the tax being paid by the customer.

What are your thoughts on this?

The sales tax of $14.57 is the sales tax for the location you sent the item to that eBay turns over to the State/County/Town government.

The Fee of $20.52  on the price, shipping and sales tax is the Final Value Fee (FVF) YOU pay as the cost of doing business with  eBay and with Adyen, who does the money processing for eBay, and it is not a government tax
