Ebay sending me notifications trying to sell me random crap. I keep thinking I have made a sale...but no, it's some item similar to something I was looking up?

Try checking your communication preferences - turn off general promos in the marketing section.

The Cs agent had me all over the place clicking. I thought maybe it worked but received another "offer" yesterday. Where do I find Communication prefernces?

I believe he told me to check them. I thought it weird and asked again. The CS has gone downhill for ebay. thank you! hopefully this works,

They don't tell us all of the secrets, but this is where I have it turned off and I do not get these messages from eBay. You can imagine the variety of things I look at each day 😀

I also have strict privacy settings in my browsers - you might try that, too. I got tired of seeing shower head ads every site I went to when we were replacing bathroom fixtures 🤣
