Non paying bidders

Non paying bidders are a serious problem. I have had two in the past two weeks.  These people should be banned from eBay.  What actually happens to these bidders?

Non paying bidders

HI @nicerman

-Use the Report Buyer link on the transaction

-Wait 4 days and cancel on day 5 using the reason Buyer hasn't paid

-Add them to your blocked list

-Use the Second chance offer feature after you have cancelled the transaction to possibly sell to the next highest bidder

If they get enough strikes and reports I am sure eBay takes action.

Non paying bidders

Still do not understand what action eBay takes to punish non-paying high bidders.  It goes with out saying that

I cancel the order  and block the deadbeat bidder .  I usually relist the item rather than offer it to the next highest bidder.

Non paying bidders

@nicerman

eBay doesn’t do anything to bidders who don’t pay.

Sellers have the unpaid item process that allows them to cancel on the 5th day. This gives the buyer a strike.
Sellers can set their buyer requirements to block bidders with 2 strikes in the past 12 months.

eBay is very buyer friendly and there doesn’t seem to be much a buyer can do to get eBay to take action.

No one asked, but I am looking forward to the day when having feedback default sorted by relevance seems right.
