New other as open box

What would one do if buying an air gun that says new other open box. But when receiving the gun find it to be ten years old and definitely used.  My issue is that one I’ve already mounted my scope and cleaned it up and sighted in. Two I need it for vermin control so I don’t wanna be without one while waiting for return and then finding another one I can afford and waiting for that to ship. My thought was getting the blue book value and getting a refund of the difference. Unfortunately I can’t get the bb value without paying for  it.  So any suggestions on what to do?

Go to your purchase history and click return item and select, the item doesn't match the description as the reason.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.
