Making an offer

While attempting to make an offer on an item, ebay sent me a message saying that I could not purchase an item from this seller since I have bought from him within the last 10 days. But I have never bought from him.

Being lead bidder in an active auctions counts towards the 10 day limit, and pending Best Offers or any bid even if outbid might count also (it doesn't say so on the form to set that Buyer Requirement but eBay is really bad about updating such information).

Thank you for the reply.  It was particularly strange since I had never done business with this seller before.  And the one time I made an offer, it was declined and it wouldn't allow me to offer again.  The seller saw a setting that he changed, but it did not help.  Just a glitch I guess.
