Listing for Railroad lock denied

Even though you may see other listings, it does not mean the item is allowed.

✓ The other listings you see are like the cars speeding on the highway. Many will get "pulled over by eBay"... their listing will get pulled down before or after the sale, and they get a serious warning on their account. Or, their account will be closed.

Not everyone gets caught. You're still not allowed to do it though.

Those sellers are risking their accounts by listing these items and that can catch up with them at any time.

I know it is hard to understand when you see the listings but trust me, sellers who violate policies do get caught.

Railroad locks and keys fall under this policy I believe. It used to be spelled out more clearly.

The sale of transit or shipping company property or government-issued documentation or identification cards is restricted or prohibited on eBay.

I believe it is seen as a security or safety issue should the locks and keys fall into the wrong hands.

I would find another platform for your collectible items.
