I am on several car forums and I know a lot of us are sick of this keyword spamming. It is so bad when you try to find a part that hundreds of items show up that have nothing to do with the part or even the model on your search. I know a lot have quit using ebay as a parts find for this reason. Ebay needs to do something about this.
This should be an easy search 1967 Chevelle SS hood and below are over 1900 items and probably not a hand full of the actual item..... Below is an example of the manipulation of the search function... If I wanted a Dodge part I would search for a Dodge part......

There will always be a some sellers that try to take advantage of any search rules so that their items appear in many searches, whether they should or not.
The sort of keyword spammers that include a laundry list of makes, models and years in their listings are the easiest to eliminate from your results; just exclude any make or any year that has nothing to do with your own particular search, and any listing that contains that make or year anywhere in the item specifics will be ignored by your search.
Lots of bolts, hinges and louvers, but not many actual hoods on eBay for the '67 Chevelle -- shipping is not easy or cheap for that sort of thing:
