i made a purchase June 3rd from a seller in the US who had same day shipping on their listing. when the order processed, it said est. delivery would be 3 weeks. I wasn't happy otherwise i'd have ordered from china for a cheaper price. 3 weeks has passed and item doesn't even show as shipped. no response frfom seller. feedback is around 50% positive. with recent positives, I might add. I don't want to wait another week just to get a refund. I want to rebuy my stuff I needed 3 weeks ago. How do I force this process along? my patience has run out.

Sorry your purchase didn't go as planned. Never expect an item sooner than the last estimated delivery date. You're right that it's always a good idea to check a sellers feedback profile page, you can see where they are located, not just shipping from, and also see if they have requested feedback revisions.

Look for the last estimated delivery date in your purchase history. You can file a refund request when the item is at least a day late.

4 business days after you file the refund request ask ebay to step in and help if the seller has not refunded you. If you do not ask ebay to step in and help then the case closes after 21 days and you lose.

You have 30 days from the last estimated delivery date to file a refund request on ebay.

If it is over that you can file a refund request on PayPal up to 180 days from date of purchase.

Escalate the dispute to paypal if the seller doesn't refund you after a few days. If you do not escalate the dispute the case closes after 20 days and you lose.

Or if you did not pay using PayPal you can file a chargeback with your bank or credit card.
