Improper Feedback

I have 501 transactions with 1 negative feedback. The buyer never contacted me. I never had a chance to help the buyer or refund the payment. The buyer claimed that the insoles of the boots were missing.  The insoles were in the boots. I would have made arrangements for a refund or return, but the buyer didn’t contact me. It has been three months since I requested a review from eBay. I have heard nothing. I’ve been an eBay buyer and seller for at least 15 years. It’s a shame that one irresponsible buyer can take my feedback from 100% positive to under 98%. What can I do?

Improper Feedback

Nothing to be done at this point. What you could have done is contact the buyer and ask him to open a return so you could refund in full - or offer to replace the insoles. If you had provided the customer service he was seeking, he might have been willing to revise the feedback. All of that would have had to be done within 30 days.
