How will Ebay protect sellers from buyers who use AI programs or apps to alter images of items received and then claim an INAD or threaten one in order to get a partial or full refund?
Has Ebay stated anything on how they will protect sellers yet?
How would a seller prevent this type of scam or at least reduce it?
It hasn't happened to me but I'm sure it will become a "thing" like returning swapped out items in the near future.

AI isn't necessary in order to attach a photo that's different from what the buyer received.
Basically, you need to take the item back regardless. If the buyer misuses the return system, you should report the buyer to eBay. If enough reports are made for this buyer, his return privileges will go bye bye.
