Dropped off a large painting at a UPS store and had it scanned in. When it arrived at the destination UPS center it was noted to be "Damaged package and contents missing" This was a very large painting aprox 44x38 in a Picture Box packed in very tight to avoid any movement. It didnt just fall out as the UPS store manager suggested. It was stolen,
So buyer files a item not arrived and I ended up refunding the buyer for cost plus shipping. I attempted to file a claim with UPS and its a hard stop, tracking number will not allow a claim to be filed. I have been told if its Ebay then Ebay files the claim and gets reimbursed by UPS and eventually refunds me. Is this the case. I cannot find any way to file a claim through ebay and am in a endless loop with their AI assistant not helpful.
