Ebay is double charging on purchases. Just wondering if anyone else has this happening.

The last year I have made only 4 or 5 purchases.  Each time my bank account has been charged twice for the same item.  This money is out of my account for 2 to 4 days and then it is put back in.  I've contacted ebay about this each time and they say "That's strange...must be a glitch in this sale".  In the meantime, I do not have access to this money.  Anyone else having this problem?   If it's happening to a lot more people than me, that's a lot of free money ebay has access to interest free.  Maybe some other entity needs to get involved to take care of this recurring  "glitch".

Once you do that, then there shouldn't be a pending charge (which usually goes away before the actual charge is made).  When the preauthorization takes longer than it should is what causes the 2 charges to show up.
