Buyer returning misdescribed article

My  buyer decided that my description of the electronic item was incorrect so he contacts eBay who issue him a refund and a shipping label to return the item.  They never ask me about this they only believe an unscrupulous buyer.  This is so screwed.

My description of the item was accurate but the buyer wanted a partial refund.  The item weighed 100 lbs and was shipped from California to S Carolina and to avoid the hassle I gave up a partial refund.

EBay should consider sellers and they should be kept in the loop when eBay decides to believe the buyer and issue refunds.

Buyer returning misdescribed article

In cases where a buyer claims an item is not as described, eBay will always approve the buyer's return request. That is part of the eBay Money Back Guarantee and it is part of the cost of doing business on eBay. Right or wrong, that's just the way it is.

ALWAYS be honest and exceedingly FAIR!

You are never required to give a partial refund. You are entitled to receive the item back before refunding in full.
