I recently won on an auction but i thought it was strange that the highest bid when i started following it was $17.00. There was ten min to go. I was waiting till there was seconds to go before bidding. Then someone bid $20.01. When there was about ten seconds to go i bid $25.52. I won the auction but i thought i would have to pay $20.51 (.50 increments), but instead i have to pay $25.52 (the bid i had entered). I am enclosing screen shot. How did the $25.00 bid get in there? Look at date. Then look at the times between the first and third bids (i am first and was bidding againt the third bidder). Plus it says there was five bidders. I count six bidders counting the $25.00 bid that was not there bidding when i was. Can anyone explain this?
