Adding buy it now to a listing to avoid fraudulant zero feedback bidders

I waited 32 minutes to speak to an ebay rep, who told me to cancel the bid and add buy it now. funny, that ebay won't allow me to change that on my listing. Very frustrating, and it seems like ebay is not capable of helping me sell my car.
