I hope someone here with more knowledge than myself can help me identify what this may be,what time period it would be from and what group of people it seems to have belong too.
It looks like red clay/rock (it even rubs off on your fingers and hands when you touch it.It has some reslly neat decorated/painted like tiles that have the appearance of being ceramic but I'm not sure that's just a guess they were found in Central/North Alabama years ago and were I think 3-4 feet under the ground.I'm very intrigued and would REALLY REALLY appreciate any information I can get on what this may have been and if it might be something of any importance.Thanks in advance and have a wonderful day.Hope to hear from some of ya'll soon!
