Pretty tea bowl, shame that you don't have the saucer. Back when this was made, tea bowls were made without handles. Coffee cups had handles.

It is English, probably from the second quarter of the 19th Century (roughly 1820's to 1840's). I don't know the maker, or specific pattern name, but it is in a class of transferware known as "Scenic Genre". Hope that this helps.

I'm pretty sure it's Staffordshire, the little spot of blue on the bottom might resemble a d but it's just a little spot.  Thanks for considering.

The blue "D" or spot could also be  a decorator's mark.  Or just a spot, like you say.  No way to know who the decorator was, if that indeed is what the mark is.
