Was in a box marked Lady Ellen

I cannot find any marks on it

Is this a piece of Lady Ellen jewelry and what else can you tell me about it

Lady Ellen was a mark used by the Lederer Brothers circa 1948.

Lady Ellen is the successful jewellery made by the Lederer Brothers.  The most popular of the brothers, Henry Lederer, was an outstanding army pilot during the Second World War.  After the war, in 1946, they turned to making jewellery but was only in business until the mid 1950s.  Their lesser-known jewellery line for men was called Lord Ellery.
