When buying a chisel how/what/where/when?

Hi.

I want to buy a Chisel for rocks (not wood) and know nothing about this market... I want a cheap chisel thats fair-quality what do you think I will have to pay? What are some good brands? I want to know everything about chisels! Please post.

(1) There are over six thousand chisels listed on eBay.  You will probably need to read a lot of descriptions to find the one you need.
