Is this a Scam?

I received an email from a Nigerian prince who has come across $3 Million US dollars in an abandoned account.  He wants to leave the country.  He also has a 1977 Chevrolet Nova with a factory special ordered Chevette engine that he wants to take out as well.

He is asking me to put up $30,000 in good faith and then will split the money with me when he arrives in the US.  The 1977 Nova with the Chevette engine is a bonus.

Is this a scam?

Their prices have gone up?

All I was ever asked to put up was $1000.00

When I told them to take it out of my share, I never heard back from them.

Have a great day.

Re: Is this a Scam?

Yeah, you know that Prince. The Nova also gave him demons in his bedroom because it belonged to his son so that's why it's  a bonus, LOL.

Re: Is this a Scam?

ummmmmm..oh Really? and of course you truly believe this? and you are that gullible &that naive?

and so far out of touch with the world that you don't know this scam has been around for the past 3 decades?? ah well it's a good laugh anyway...

Everyone, please crawl out from under neath that rock you've been living under and learn about the world around you.

This is just plain silly...almost to the point of the ridiculous when folks post this **bleep**...

I truly think this is somebody's idea of a joke so everyone don't take this too seriously...

Have a great Holiday Season!

Re: Is this a Scam?

How can the rest of us get in on this deal?

Does he have any relatives in the same situation that we can help?

I like GM vehicles, but would probably go in for a 65/66 Mustang

And there is still people falling for it.

There was a story on our local news just a few nights ago where they fell for it and lost thousands of dollars.

As long as it works, it'll be around for another 3 decades.

Have a great day.

You're asking this as a joke, right?  Next you will be telling us the Brooklyn Bridge is for sale.  Payment by eBay gift cards only.

Re: Is this a Scam?

As it turns out, the Chevette engine that is in the 1977 Nova is the "high output" version with dual exhaust pipes.  What a deal!

Re: Is this a Scam?

Bruh...it's legit!! He also contacted me a few years ago but only $10K in good faith. I sent him $10K & I never heard from him again...I believe he's too busy to reply as he's a prince of a country but I think he'll send me all the stuff he promised me! So I'll be waiting for my goods for now....
