No idea on this. Think I’ve had it about 20 years. Subject matter
seemed atypical for woodcut, I guess that’s what caught my eye. Never
have figured out even part of the signature.
This vase was posted on another forum and hasn't been ID'd. Im out of my
league on this one. I asked the OP for permission to post the pics here
because I felt confident it could be identified. Not a lot of info other
than that it's 7" tall. Any help...
Here are the bases of 2/3 of the vases that are in my logo, for
comparison. I have numerous Gebauer vases, including one with the same
glaze combo that’s on your vase. I’m certain that’s who made your vase.
Appears to be shape designation “T33”, shown in the shape library of The
Fulper Book on page 110. Unfortunately no dimensions are given in the
book.What an amazing glaze combo to have on a such an assuming shape, I
love it!
