I think you'll need to request a picture of the date code and the heat stamp.

she claims there is nothing inside the bag except this, no heat stamp

Has she sent pictures? The heat stamp should be on the leather patch below the zipper. This is a Babylon.

Smart move. 

A seller who's non-responsive before the sale will probably be more of a problem after a sale if there's an issue.
