Cancelling a transaction

Hello I just sold an item I did not have by mistakenly listing it twice. My second mistake was going to paypal and issuing the customer a full refund. When I go to cancel the transaction on eBay all I find is going to cancel the transaction and issue a refund. I don't want to refund his money twice. Is there any way to just cancel the sale? I guess I could cancel and refund and then go to Paypal to get one of the refunds cancelled. Any ideas? Thanks Scotty

Processing the cancellation after you have refunded manually will not initiate a second refund.   When the cancellation process first changed, I refunded through paypal before realizing the refund is now incorporated within the cancellation process itself.
