Lionel Trains - Lionel kills local dealers.

I was contacted by a loyal customer today about a newly released Lionel 44 Ton  Switching Engine .

1.  The dealer cost from a distributor is ~ $185.00

2.  Lionel's published MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) is $224.00.

3.  The MSRP is $249.00.

4.  After I gave the customer my best price, he sent me back a link to a site run by a bald rocket jockey.

5.  They bought directly from Lionel and published the price $30+ LESS THAN THE MAP.

6.  Closed my Lionel account immediately.  As a repair facility, I'll ensure buyers know to send their broken or inoperable trains to the "rocket scientists along the river" to be repaired.

7.  Cheap labor + Sleazy management + Sleazier Facilitator Retailer = Chapter 11.
