Notification 'bell' seems to have a glitch with 'Re:

Having a problem in the Park.  Seems when user receives a 'helpful' notification and clicks on the notification that takes you directly to the post, there are 100s of Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: that entirely fills a block after the post.  These 100's of Re: Re: are repeated after every post throughout the thread.  Hard to explain.  Seems to be happening only in the Park and with certain threads.  Is anyone else (other groups)having this problem?  Will see if can get a screen shot and post it.

I've been doing some testing and yes it's definitely that bell. I went into the Park threads using my bookmarks and they posted fine. But touch that bell and go in? Page goes crazy like in that screenshot above.

However when post is all wonky like above? I discovered that if I went back a page the posts were all fine?

So I don't know the answer but it's def something to do with the notification bell which hasn't been working right lately anyways.  Half the time it doesn't even light up when I have new notifications.

I've also seen the "Re:" issue all over the place, like on people's "Posts" page and their Community profile pages, though not to the extent of the OP's example.

I wouldn't necessarily focus on the notification bell being the culprit, since it's not the only place that's being affected.

It also shows up in the heading above individual replies within a thread:

@pburn   Correct, it seems like it occurs either most or every time a Reply is completed.   @shirleys809304  has one of those high reply volume threads which explains the screen shot showing a whole screen full of RE ... of course if there was a prize for having the most RE she would win hands down ...

Yep she would as her threads are full of posts that look like the screenshot above. I could be wrong but I still think it's related to the bell.

Mine's been acting up for awhile now but bookmarks are working fine so use them, touching that bell seems to be setting it off for me.

Whatever is broke I hope they fix it soon cause it's really got @shirleys809304  threads messed up bad.  😕

They must be working on it, because now NO thread titles show up on the bell drop-down or the Notification page.

Thank you so very much for looking into this and I also thank everyone else who has chimed in with their thoughts and screem shots🤣  Hopefully, the issue will get repaired.  I'm thinking it must be getting worked on as well.  I have a lot of helpfuls and 'mentioned you' notifications without the info in regard to where these were posted. 

Yeah, heh heh, me gots a page full of 'Re's' and would win hands down!  LOL at Mr. Lincoln! @mr_lincoln
