A good thing that Ebay requires receipts from new sellers listing lots of new, designer, items. The river should have been so thorough.

Too bad that obviously brilliant woman didn't put her considerable talents to use in some honest business enterprise, but that's not as *fun* as this.
Well, now she and her friends are going to have some REAL fun. Geez - I hope she didn't bring those little kids into it as office help.

Oh, well -- at least the California Institution for Woman in Chino has a great view -- nothing, really. . ..

I guess what boggles the mind is Amazon never questioning these designer items she sold by the hundreds..for over ten years!

So long as Amazon is making $$$, what's to question?

Obviously.

I live in upstate NY and last week a woman was arrested for stealing $34,000 from Ulta over 3 months. Maybe she was part of that ring. LOL

Could have been, the ring was huge.I think Amazon has egg on their face with this fiasco.

Oh-oh -- the Rose Singer Center is on Riker's Island.
Cue the theme song music for "Law & Order."

Amazon is far more restrictive about who can sell many brands and types of item than Ebay, Amazon does not accept retail receipts, for example.
These headlines are usually about sellers who had legitimate accounts at some time, who branched out into criminality.
Ebay has only recently adopted some of Amazon's protective policies. They, too, are unlikely to quickly catch other than new criminal sellers.

It's ironic that it was reported by Fox News, as she's their base.

Idk, but if an Amazon seller with an established account suddenly began listing hundreds of designer items, that wouldnt put them on Amazons radar? It certainly does here. You see all these complaints in here from long time sellers who have listed a pricey item or two, and their funds are held, and proof of purchase demanded.

California is just a sad state.
The problem is systemic, and needs to be addressed.
People running in and stealing things running out. Can't try and stop them, if you do you can get in trouble for assault.
You just wave.
