Bids are that seem to be occurring after the end of auctions?

Hello.   This is probably more of sour grapes posting but I am confused about bids that are occurring on a number of auctions tied to breaks that I keep losing .   The last 3 of them I lost by literally 50 cents.  I keep looking at the end of these auctions  down to the seconds, hits all zeroes and then going to the "You didn't win the item" thing.     For example one of the auctions ended at Jun 29, 2022 at 5:27PM PDT but the winning bid is at 29 Jun 2022 at 5:27:24pm PDT.   Hell the bid that hit my max bid was on 29 Jun 2022 at 5:27:08pm PDT.   So is this bid actually occurring after the auction ends or some  final chance option?   Or is it some timing issue with Ebay?
