How to create a sample order in API?

We are building a SaaS software similar to ShipStation.com

What we need is just sample orders in sandbox so we can test "import" the order with the order details, shipping address etc, so that then we can have the user create a shipping label.

how do we create an order in sandbox? tried multiple times and am getting error when trying to create an order via buyer and seller. We create an offer and listing but when we try to checkout errors occur.

is there a way to simple get sample orders that we can import via API into our site?

any suggestions?

It could be that you may need to create a ebay account for selling and then create some inexpensive listings. Then you may need a partner to purchase these items so you can test you software. It sounds like you are doing something similar. If you are trying to purchase from the same IP address this may be a issue. The selling account and purchase account probably needs to be completely disassociated with each other.

so there is no way to test this other than real live orders?

Seems like an archaic way to test/build on eBay API....

plus ebay doesn't really allow to make purchases from friends or your own self no?

Not sure that you can purchase from yourself, but I do not think that someone you know purchasing from you is against the rules.  I do not know that eBay will allow their platform to be used for the purpose you described.

You will probably need to contact eBay to see if they offer something that would be useful to you.  You should be able to get their address from the User Agreement.
