I got this beautiful pot at an estate sale recently and have scoured the internet looking for a match to this mark.
It's finely potted, immaculately turned, cut and glazed. The glaze "pattern" even carries through the interior of the piece. It's truly an excellent pot. That's why I'm so confused/frustrated by not being able to find another example of the mark or the shape/style.
I know how notoriously difficult it is to identify studio pottery marks, and I'm hoping for a hail Mary on this one.
It looks to be an M with a little kick off to the left hand side. Maybe one of you sees something I don't?
Here's hoping.
