1 John 1:5

Your Four Friends
Once upon a time there was a person who had four friends.
They loved the fourth friend the most and adorned #4 with rich robes and treated #4 to the finest of delicacies. They gave #4 nothing but the best.
They also loved the third friend very much and was always showing #3 off to neighboring kingdoms. However, they feared that one day #3 would leave them for another.
They also loved their second friend. #2 was their confidant and was always kind, considerate and patient with them. Whenever this person faced a problem, they could confide in #2, and they would help them get through the difficult times.
The persons first friend was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining their wealth and kingdom. However, the person did not love the first friend. Although #1 loved the person deeply, the person hardly took notice of them!
One day, the person fell ill and they knew their time was short. The person thought of their luxurious life and wondered, 'I now have four friends with me, but when I die, I'll be all alone.'
Thus, the person asked the fourth friend, 'I loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?' 'No way!', replied the fourth friend, and they walked away without another word.
their answer cut like a sharp knife right into the persons heart.
The sad person then asked the third friend, 'I loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?' 'No!', replied the third friend. 'Life is too good! When you die, I'm going to marry someone else!' The persons heart sank and hurt deply.
The person then asked the second friend, 'I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?' 'I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!', replied the second friend. 'At the very most, I can only walk with you to your grave.' This answer struck the person like a bolt of lightning, and the person was devastated.. Then a voice called out: 'I'll go with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go.'
The person looked up, and there was their first friend. they were very skinny as they suffered from malnutrition and neglect. Greatly grieved, the person said, 'I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!'
In truth, you all have four friends in all your lives:
Your fourth friend is your body. No matter how much time and effort you lavish in making it look good, it will leave you when you die.
Your third friend is your possessions, status and wealth. When you die, it will all go to others. Your second friend is your family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for you, the furthest they can stay by you is up to the grave.
And your first friend is your spirit. Often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the world. However, your spirit is the only thing that will follow you where ever you go.
Cultivate, strengthen and cherish it now, for it is the only part of you that will follow you to the throne of God and continue with you throughout Eternity.
Being happy doesn't mean every thing's perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections.
Always remember, when the world pushes you to your knees, you're in the perfect position to pray

For now in their hearts dwell all your inspirations.
Hearts legacy will for always and forever remain.
Each life you've all touched with kindness and good.
Writing was only part of God's great plan.
Through you he flowed into so many hearts.
Guiding many to the masters hands.

Yes, I also miss it very much. It helped me to stay alive! Because of the need I felt but mainly because of all the prayers I felt.

In my life I've learned that true happiness comes from giving. Helping others along the way makes you evaluate who you are. I think that love is what we're all searching for. I haven't come across anyone who didn't become a better person through love.
