Labor Day Worst Holiday for eBay sales?

I've been selling on eBay for years now and I am thinking this is correct. Labor Day is one of the slowest sales days of the year...and the entire weekend is pretty much included in that. Agree? If I remember correctly things begin to pick up soon after. Thoughts? Curious...

I normally average 2-3 sales a day.

I had 16 sales over the Labor Day weekend.

Sales were just fine, actually been very good and consistent all year long.

My sales have been horrible for months. Wish I was selling like I was last year.

I had a very good weekend. 22 sales, up 100% compared to Labor Day weekend last year.

Holidays usually give us slower sales. But, mine were good through Labor Day weekend. I do all the jumping through hoops, changing it up, etc. But, I'm pleased with my results.
