Is this necklace a lariat and how would I describe it ?

The part that slides up and down looks like it has opals and the large piece at the bottom has an orange looking stone andon the other side looks like mother of pearl with daisy design. Not marked anywhere. Maybe gold filled.

Slide would be a keyword for this

Definitely a slide....have you looped this to see if there is a karat mark anywhere...I would loop it, loop it and loop it again...Some of these were gold filled but some were actual karat gold...I would also check in that little round circle thingy in the middle that is coming up on my monitor to make sure it doesn't have any writing or images inside it.
