I purchased a large wall-hanging pottery art piece at an estate sale but have no information or idea about this kind of pottery art.
The dimensions of the piece are 25" in length, 10.5" in depth, and 4.5" in height. It weighs approximately 7 lbs. There are 2 holes on the back for wall hanging.
Although there is a maker's mark or signature, I'm unable to read it. I'm seeking any information about this piece or pottery art of this kind and would greatly appreciate any insights you may have

Are you able to discern actual initials in the mark or is it a more of a design or abstract image? If initials, you can search the marks project website for studio pottery. Can we get a clearer pic of the mark?

How does it hang on a wall? It looks more like a large bowl that would sit on a table. I think I see letters in the mark (Si....) but yes, difficult to make out.

This large oval bowl can be hung on the wall with 2 holes on the back.

You might try adding "slab pottery" to your search.
