Timers Have Been Removed From Category Listings Pages???

So, apparently eBay has decided to remove the timer displays from the listing category overview pages for "ending soonest" listings? Is anyone else finding this change to be ridiculously stupid or is it just me?

Hadn't noticed until you mentioned it. Yes, it does appear rather strange.

Loses the sense of urgency the timers had presented.
