Need help grading a barbie doll hat

I'm having some trouble grading this hat. It is missing a string, but otherwise I don't see any other problems. The fur still looks quite bright and fluffy and there are no stains.How would you grade this on a scale of near-mint to fair? If the item was dirty or had stains, how would it grade? It would be nice to have an idea of where a item should be placed in a grading scale if it were missing something, had stains, holes,etc.

Sorry to say it's only worth $5 with both strings in nm condition with a darker red pom pom - this I would say is good.  Called Skipper Skating Fun - if you look at completed listings you can see some pretty nice ones that sold for less than $5
