Buyer legitimate?

We listed a sports card and the bidding got up to $500 over the 1st 5 days.

Last minutes of the listing it got up to 747.97.

The high bidder has zero sales and just joined 18 days ago.

We had 11 bidders. All the others looked legitimate.

the last few minutes of the auction 2 bidders went at it increasing the bid from $550 to #737. 97. Of course it ended at 6:16 last night. Nothing from the buyer. I know it's early, but the has no history.

How long does the buyer have to pay and if he doesn't what would be my next steps?

Re: Buyer legitimate?

If the buyer has not paid by day 4, on day 5 the seller can file a Cancellation with the reason Buyer didn't pay. The seller gets his/her FVF credited, the buyer gets an unpaid strike recorded on his account, no one can leave feedback. Two or more unpaid strikes, and the buyer will find it difficult to bid/buy from sellers who block buyers with 2 or more unpaid strikes. Do you have your Buyer Blocks in place?

After the transaction has completed, you can send a Second Chance Offer to the under bidders who have opted into receiving SCO.
