As Seller, change shipping box size dimensions after item sold

I have found that the item I sold will require a slightly larger box. I have no problem paying the incurred extra cost but do not know if it possible to do this once the item has sold? I did not see anything on the print shipping label page. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
