According to the auction house URL in your picture it's European Art Deco, which would be 1920s. The form of the piece is consistent with Art Deco. You should be able to go to that auction house site to get further information on it.
first thing that comes to my mind is Wiener Werkstätte. but there were many others that had similar marks - sometimes to deceive... best would be if anyone had books from Waltraut Neuwirth - the grand old lady for Vienna and Austria stuff.
