Category fees

Hi is there a list or something anywhere that provides the specific category ids that have a listing fee?

I can see broad category names but unsure on the actual categories would cause a fee, thanks.

Category fees

@rapii_25

There are upfront insertion fees and final value fees (FVF) after the sale.

Fees differ between shop and non-shop.

Private UK sellers can list up to 1000 items before paying a 35 pence insertion fee.

Private UK sellers will see a single FVF rate for all items except used clothing, which has no FVF

UK Business sellers will see varying insertion rates and free insertions based on shop level. Final Value Fees vary by category. Root categories are shown in the list, so all items in the tree for that root category have the same rate, unless the chart states "except". The subsequent list of bulleted "exception" subcategories will have a different rate.

Category fees

Hi @rapii_25

There are two main types of selling fees: an insertion fee when you create a listing, and a final value fee when your item sells.

You can check the basic fees for most categories here: https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/selling-fees?id=4822#section3

If you are managing the listing with Trading API, you can execute the VerifyAddItem/VerifyAddFixedPriceItem call and for the Inventory API, you can execute the getListingFees call to get the listing fees before actually listing the item.
