When I am entering information to ship via UPS Ground using eBay labels, I'm getting much lower rates than usual. For example, to ship a 2 lb, 48x5x5 package from Florida to California is calculating as $9.20. But if I decrease the weight to 1 lb, the shipping cost increases to $10.10. For 3 lb, the cost is $10.92.
If I input the same information on UPS directly, the price for the 2 lb package is $12.58, while the 1 lb package is $10.10 (same as eBay) and a 3 lb package is $14.14.
These differences have existed for at least a couple days. Is this a glitch or is there something else going on?
