"I can't buy it" -buyer

When I ask why and for more details, I get

"It's not working."

Then I ask if they see an error, to show me a screenshot or type it out

"It's not letting me."

Then I go

There's any number of possibilities for that type of issue.  Could be an inept computer user (or just unfamiliar with eBay), could be a scammer setting you up for a fake payment scam, could just be someone messing with you.  I agree, I don't generally keep responding, but I will direct them to eBay's customer service if they still have problems after one or two messages from me.

Perhaps they may a few strikes against them for non payment and it hasn't dawned on them yet that they cannot purchase.  Just a thought...

This scenario has happened to me a few times in the past and I was never able to get any real details from the buyer after a few tries so I just give up and refer them to ebay.

As for the recent buyer who sent me this message? No, as far as I know the buyer is in an area where I ship to.
