I have these two, I’m assuming Victorian, fobs and am seeking advice on the stones and figures. I’m thinking the square one on the left is maybe Mercury and bloodstone. At a loss for the circular one - maybe a spray of wheat in the hair? Thanks for any input.

Maybe onyx and Demeter on the round one.

I agree, the one on the left looks like bloodstone to me 😊

Yes to Mercury, if those are wings in his helmet. Nice finds!

Cushion shape on the left looks like bloodstone. On the round on the right I can't tell from the pic. Black onyx probably if the piece is actually black, but the carved portion looks more like hematite in the pic. Hematite has a metallic-like luster, and it will leave a red streak on unglaze porcelain (like the back of a bathroom tile).

Definitely Mercury on the Bloodstone one. These fobs were dead common for a while, with similar portraits. The round one could be onyx, sardonyx, black tourmaline, or...who knows.
