Coach Authentic Handbag? No L05Q-5688

I got a coach handbag as a gift new with coach tags. I'm trying to sell it on Ebay now but it was take down saying it was counterfeit?! I tried to research it and appears to be legitimate but I'm no Coach specialist! Anyone experienced know if this is authentic tag? The purse has coach label on the metal rings and zippers all high quality looking. It's got real good quality leather. The two C's are facing each other on the canvas part. Cotton interior Coach lining

I am not an expert on Coach purses, but my understanding is that typos and spelling mistakes in the creed are a red flag.

The creed in your bag has two words run into one with no space between:

"... HANDCRAFTED IN CHINA FROM THEFINEST MATERIALS ..."

The creed is incorrect as stated above.

Of course it's a public forum and anyone can read and respond but to make extra work for the OP for your own (or someone else's own) benefit is a waste of time.

I realize this thread is old, but no one mentioned the serial number so I thought I'd add that bit for anyone researching and stumbling across this topic.... Besides the spelling on the creed, the fastest way I've found to help determine authenticity is to simply Google the last set of numbers on the creed patch. Usually only the numbers after the dash are necessary, but if you Google "Coach No. 5688" you will find the bag that pops up that is attached to the serial number looks nothing like the bag in question. I also like to confirm with a picture of the bag on Google Lens and yes there are those very rare bags that you may find only one picture on the whole internet of, but chances are if you can't find a single Coach bag anywhere on the internet that is the same as the bag in question, it's likely a fake. Those tricks along with the other tell-tale signs mentioned here and on many Coach forums, can help someone unfamiliar with Coach determine whether one is authentic or fake.
