making multiple bids

Hi @chriskoto

The Auto-pay setting is NOT an eBay global setting, it is on each Seller's individual account.  They have the ability to turn it off and on or add a Buyer to their Exemptions list.

As to bidding on three like items but only needing one that is NOT advisable ... on the 2 you don't want but might win the auctions what do you expect the Seller(s) to do, just roll over and cancel them for you because you found one cheaper???

Only Sellers can cancel Bids or Transactions and they do not have to do that ... you risk getting 2 Unpaid item strikes on your account which would mean you will not be able to bid or buy on eBay much for 12 months - that's how long the strikes take to roll off your account.  Sellers have a default setting to block Buyers with 2 or more Unpaid strikes for 1, 6 or 12 months.  Many don't even know about the setting or if they do they don't change it from the 12 month default.

In the end, what you decide to do is your choice but you should know some of the consequences as outlined above ...
