Good morning everyone,
I have a buyer in China. I didn't originally anticipate shipping internationally but I discovered the Global Shipping Program and it seems so easy I figured I'd give it a shot. The item in question has sold. I have enrolled in the GSP but I can't seem to choose that as a shipping option. Is there something I'm missing or is this an option that needs to be chosen before the item sells? Thanks

I didn't check all of your sold items, but I doubt if there is an item that has GSP added in the listing.
Shipping to the US only, is all I see, also for your unsold items.
Yes, you have to add the GSP before an item sells.
For now, you can cancel without getting a defect, for a problem with buyer's address.
You can relist with GSP for this Chinese buyer. But you have to prevent that someone else buys. (I know how.)
You also can cancel and make a second chance offer to the next highest bidder (in the US).
Well, there are several options.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I was afraid of. I think I'll go the route of cancelling the order then relisting with GSP as an option.

Okay. Good luck.

This is also an option: https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/shipping-items/setting-shipping-options/ebay-international-standar...
In this program buyers have to pay taxes in their country, not during Checkout. That is better, I think.
